It has been a funny sort of week. Hurricane warnings, thunder, high winds and torrential rain. It was glorious this afternoon and now the rain again!At least it saves the local council having to water the poinsettias. They do look lovely and I reckon that seeing them is one of the nicest things about Christmas.
I'm not a great fan of the festive season, especially now that I live so far away from my family. We are going to Caron's house this year and Dave is cooking the turkey. Guess who is in charge of the trifle?!
