Ten Years.....

We have been living in our apartment for almost ten years and I´ve decided it is time to have a clear out.

The plan is to do it room by room clearing out all the rubbish and then having a paint and such. One cupboard created five rubbish bags! We had at least five redundant phone chargers amongst other useless articles.

One distraction was a huge pile of photos which took ages to look through.

Tomorrow...........the wardrobe!

I´m Sixty!

To be honest it feels really old but I did have a brilliant day. I didn´t fancy a party in the evening and ended up opting for an afternoon pub crawl. I was amazed at the amount of folk who turned up and was thankful that the first bar had been warned! All the inside chairs and tables ended up outside. Yvonne made the cake and Nigel started off the Happy Birthday song.

Twenty plus cards and lots of gifts. Lucky me!

I haven´t posted anything for ages because nothing of note seems to happen these days. Having felt so cross with myself earlier today I´ve decided to make more of an effort.

My camera normally lives in my bag but when I tried to take a photo a couple of weeks ago I realised that the battery was dead. All charged up and where was it this afternoon? On my desk!

Lots of things were happening in the village this afternoon whilst we were out and about. A bouncy castle and other sorts of things in the plaza to amuse the kiddies. Then this bloke on stilts turned up with a band.
