The Photo Comp

I haven't entered for ages but felt inspired by the Christmas subject. Having nothing new I shoved in an old one thinking that it wouldn't rate anything. Fifth place! I'm really pleased and will gather some new material for the next one.

The subject is Light. I'll have a go.

An Early Night?

I was going to go to bed a little earlier tonight but when I remembered that the clocks go back an hour, I thought I'd make the most of it and blog! Let's hope that it stays in my head until the morning else we will arrive at the bowling far too early!

Having spoken to Katie earlier in the week, there's good news on the camera front. Sony have repaired my poorly sick one and it's winging it's way back to me. How I've missed it and I can't wait to see it again. Thanks Katie xx

Which leads me on quite nicely to the monthly photo competition. The subject is 'Kids Stuff' and I decided to enter this one of Maisie which I took at Easter. I didn't have high hopes for it as I'm just using stock stuff, but it's winning!!

Remember This?

I blogged this ages ago to show the size of the Tenerife pork chops but decided to resurrect it this week for the photo competition. The subject is 'anything to do with pigs' and not having pig ornaments or living within striking distance of the live variety, this was my only option.

It has one vote already but that's probably for the humour factor!

The subject was 'Anything Local to You'. I had this photo of our local harbour amongst my stock pile and thought it had half a chance of winning.

It didn't even get a vote. I'm gutted!
